Metaphors We Live By: Developing a Sustainability Perspective through Energy Education

Through presentation and collaborative dialogue this session will explore the dominant metaphors that influence our present society and perceptions of energy education. From that basis we'll look at how ecological metaphors have and can be powerful communication tools in transitioning to a sustainable energy future. This session will help engage diverse audiences: formal (from Kindergarten to Masters), and non-formal across sectors.
